Participation Units

Participation Units define how much an NX1 machine works within the network.

By activating between 1 and 100 units, a machine can participate from a minimum level of 1% up to its full operational capacity, 100%, supporting the digital services built on the network. As the machine operates, it contributes infrastructure that enables NodeLink to provide digital services such as privacy, security, connectivity and compute power.

Key characteristics:

  • Each Participation Unit represents a fixed participation value

  • Each Unit has a cost of $25

  • Units are associated with a specific machine (except Level 0 participation)

  • Each NX1 machine supports up to 100 Participation Units

  • Units can be added at any time

  • Units can be transfered internally to other participants

Participation Units determine participation scale/work-load, not machine behavior.
