Before you switch it on, two things to know: rewards vary and are not guaranteed, and value sitting in your Auto Link balance cannot be withdrawn while it is there. ### What Auto Link is When Auto Link is on, the rewards you earn each day are used to buy more licenses. You do not have to do anything, and your earning base keeps growing. You also earn an extra 2.5% on each reward that goes through Auto Link. You keep that extra amount when the balance turns into licenses. If some of it is still unconverted at the end of your term, see "At the end of your term" below. There is no fee when your rewards are turned into licenses. ### Turning it on or off You control the switch and can turn it on or off whenever you like. It starts off, so nothing happens until you switch it on. While it is on, you earn the extra 2.5%. While it is off, your rewards work exactly as they do now. You can change the switch as often as you want, including several times in one month. The change only affects rewards you earn after auto link is turned on or off. One important point: switching Auto Link off stops new rewards going into your Auto Link balance, but it does not release what is already there. Value already in your Auto Link balance stays set aside for buying licenses and cannot be withdrawn. ### What occurs each day Your rewards are calculated every night. Switch off: your reward goes to your claimable balance, ready to withdraw on the 1st of next month, just as it works today. Switch on: your reward is worked out, the extra 2.5% is added, and both go into your Auto Link balance. That balance is set aside for buying licenses and cannot be withdrawn. ### How your balance becomes new licenses Each night, after your reward is added, the system checks your Auto Link balance. As soon as there is enough for a license, it buys as many whole licenses as it can and activates them the same night. You do not wait for the 1st of the month. No fee is taken. The whole balance goes towards licenses. Anything left over stays in your Auto Link balance and rolls over to the next night. New licenses go on your own machines first. They only use company-hosted capacity once your machines are full, the same as when you activate a license yourself. ### If your machines are full If you have enough for a license but no space on your machines: Nothing is bought, and the value stays in your Auto Link balance. It cannot be withdrawn while it is there. The system will alert you, and remind you while it stays that way. Adding a machine gives you more space. The system keeps checking every night and buys more licenses as soon as there is space. If no space becomes available and you want to stop, contact support and we will go through your options for the balance. ### What your Auto Link licenses do for you Licenses bought through Auto Link are full licenses. The only difference is to Node Growth bonuses, explained below. * They count towards your tier, including license minimums. * They earn at your current rate straight away. * They count towards your role qualifications. * They are fully productive, and their rewards are not reduced for having been bought through Auto Link. ### Auto Link and your team bonuses (Node Growth and Node Activity) Node Growth and Node Activity are the two sets of team bonuses paid on production under the NTL Program, and the equivalent NLK Program for legacy participants. Node Growth (Direct, PowerUp and Matching): when Auto Link creates a license, the Node Growth bonus paid to the upline on that activation is halved, so 50%. Qualification rules, depth and percentages do not change. Only the bonus on that activation is halved. This applies to any activation created through Auto Link, including activations by people in your downline. Node Activity (Direct Referral, Generational and Matching): not affected. It pays in full, because it is paid on what your licenses produce, and an Auto Link license is fully productive. Volume points: not affected. An Auto Link license gives full volume points, so using Auto Link does not slow your role progression. This works both ways. When someone in your downline uses Auto Link, you earn Node Growth at half on those activations and Node Activity in full, the same as everyone else. Auto Link settings, including the extra 2.5% and the Node Growth adjustment, are set by the Platform and may change. We will publish any change through the official channels. ### If you have company-hosted licenses For a license hosted by the company, the usual hosting adjustment is already taken off your reward before the bonus is worked out. Your 2.5% is calculated on the reward you actually receive. ### At the end of your term Auto Link runs across your 60-month term. If any value is still in your Auto Link balance when your term ends, it becomes available to withdraw, less the extra amount added along the way. Everything you earned yourself stays yours. ### Summary Auto Link turns your daily rewards into more licenses, automatically. You earn an extra 2.5% on rewards that go through Auto Link. No fee applies. You control the switch and can change it any time. Value already in your Auto Link balance cannot be withdrawn, the funds stay set aside for licenses. Licenses bought through Auto Link are full licenses and start earning immediately. Auto Link does not reduce your own rewards, tier progress or volume points. Node Growth bonuses on an Auto Link activation pay at 50%, Node Activity pays in full. Rewards vary and are not guaranteed. Licenses bought through Auto Link work the same as licenses you activate yourself. They terminate with your existing 60-month term. They do not start a new one. Rewards may be taxable where you live, from when you earn them, even if they go through Auto Link and you have not withdrawn them. Tax is between you and your local tax authority, so get independent advice if you need it.
