# Brand Protection & Communication Guidelines

## 1. PURPOSE OF THIS SECTION

This section defines what participants can and cannot do when representing NodeLink.

The goal is to:

* Protect the integrity of the brand;
* Ensure consistent and accurate communication;
* Prevent misinformation, misrepresentation, and compliance risks.

NodeLink operates as a **participation-based digital infrastructure model**, not a financial product or investment offering.

## 2. CORE PRINCIPLE

All communication must reflect the following:

* NodeLink is **infrastructure participation**;
* Rewards are **performance-based and not guaranteed**;
* The system is **utility-based, not financial or investment-based**.

If communication deviates from this, it is considered **non-compliant**.

## 3. PROHIBITED ACTIONS ❌

### 3.1 Creating Unofficial Brand Assets

You are **not allowed** to:

* Create your own:
* Landing pages
* Websites
* Funnels
* Sales pages
* Make the above appear as **official NodeLink platforms**

You are not allowed to create your own landing pages, websites, funnels, or sales pages that imitate, copy, or appear to be official NodeLink platforms. This includes reusing NodeLink's design, logo, colour system, or layout in a way that could lead a visitor to believe the page is operated by NodeLink. This is considered brand impersonation.

### 3.2 Creating Unapproved Marketing Materials

You are **not allowed** to create and distribute:

* Flyers
* Presentations
* PDFs
* Social media creatives
* Videos

UNLESS they are:

* Official materials
* OR explicitly approved by Nodelink Team

👉 Reason:\
Uncontrolled materials lead to:

* Incorrect claims
* Inconsistent positioning
* Legal exposure

***

### 3.3 Misrepresenting the Model

You must **never** present NodeLink as:

* An investment
* Passive income
* Guaranteed income
* Fixed return system
* Mining device

This is factually incorrect.

NodeLink rewards are:

* **Performance-based**
* **Network-dependent**
* **Not guaranteed**

### 3.4 Making Financial Claims

You are **strictly** **prohibited** from saying:

* “You will earn X per day/month”
* “Guaranteed returns”
* “Safe investment”
* “Risk-free”

#### Why:

Production depends on:

* Network performance
* Participation
* Infrastructure activity

→ It is explicitly **not guaranteed**

### 3.5 Misrepresenting the Technology

You must **not claim** that:

* Users are “mining crypto”
* The device is a mining machine

Fact:

* Nx1 is an **edge compute** node contributing to infrastructure
* It does **not mine** **or validate blocks**

### 3.6 Acting as an Official Representative

You are **not allowed** to:

* Present yourself as:
* NodeLink employee
* Official spokesperson
* Official support

Unless explicitly authorized.

### 3.7 Running Paid Ads Without Approval

You cannot run:

* Paid ads
* Sponsored campaigns
* Influencer campaigns

Using any of the following without prior written approval:

* NodeLink brand name or any variant
* NodeLink logo, visual identity, or colour system
* NodeLink's official messaging, taglines, or marketing copy

Without approval.

### 3.8 Creating Confusion or False Urgency

You must not:

* Use misleading urgency
* Create artificial scarcity
* Make exaggerated claims

## 4. WHAT ARE YOU ALLOWED TO DO ✅

### 4.1 Share Official Materials

You are encouraged to:

* Use official:
* Videos
* Presentations
* Links
* Documentation

These are continuously provided in multiple languages.

### 4.2 Explain the System (Correctly)

You can explain NodeLink as:

* A **distributed infrastructure network**
* A system where users:
* Contribute bandwidth, compute, uptime
* Receive rewards based on participation

This is aligned with the official model

### 4.3 Share Your Experience (Without Claims)

You may:

* Share your personal experience
* Document your journey

BUT you must not:

* Generalize results
* Promise outcomes

### 4.4 Invite Others (Correctly)

You can:

* Invite others to:
* Learn
* Explore
* Participate

You must not:

* Sell expectations
* Guarantee results

## 5. COMMUNICATION RULES (Language Guardrails)

### Always Use

* “Participation”
* “Infrastructure”
* “Production is variable”
* “Up to” (when referencing system parameters)
* “Performance-based”

### Never Use

* “Guaranteed”
* “Passive income” (as a promise)
* “Investment”
* “Profit”
* “Returns”
* APY
* Yield
* ROI
* Earnings
* Dividends
* Passive earnings
* Income

## 6. WHY THESE RULES EXIST

NodeLink is structured as:

* A **utility-based participation system**
* With **independent components**:
* Infrastructure
* USDN
* Growth
* Activity

Incorrect communication can:

* Mislead users
* Damage brand trust
* Create legal exposure
* Disrupt long-term growth

## 7. ENFORCEMENT

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in:

* Removal from community channels
* Loss of privileges
* Account-level action

## 8. FINAL PRINCIPLES

If you are unsure:

👉 **Do not create — use official material**

Most errors in the ecosystem come from:

* Misunderstanding the system
* Creating unofficial explanations

The correct approach is:

* Use official resources
* Ask your upline
* Verify before sharing

These guidelines may be updated at any time. Continued participation in the NodeLink ecosystem constitutes acceptance of the current version. Participants will be required to acknowledge these guidelines at onboarding and after material updates.
